El m\u00fasico, conocido como \u2018El Negro Rada\u2019, naci\u00f3 en Montevideo en 1943 y se convirti\u00f3 en una de las figuras m\u00e1s importantes de la m\u00fasica uruguaya. Fusion\u00f3 candombe con rock, jazz y funk, y form\u00f3 parte de agrupaciones hist\u00f3ricas como El Kinto, T\u00f3tem y Opa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 40 discos y dej\u00f3 cl\u00e1sicos como Las manzanas, Mi pa\u00eds, Muriendo de plena y Cha-cha muchacha. En 2011 recibi\u00f3 el Premio a la Excelencia Musical de la Academia Latina de la Grabaci\u00f3n por su trayectoria y aporte a la m\u00fasica. Colabor\u00f3 con artistas como Trueno, Cazzu y La Vela Puerca, entre otros. El presidente Yamand\u00fa Orsi decret\u00f3 duelo oficial y sus restos ser\u00e1n velados en el Palacio Legislativo.
