En mayo, unos 300 migrantes hicieron huelga por hacinamiento, falta de aire, mala comida y problemas de salud. El alcalde Ras Baraka denunci\u00f3 obst\u00e1culos para inspeccionar el lugar y pidi\u00f3 una investigaci\u00f3n independiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este caso se suma al aumento de fallecidos bajo custodia migratoria: 18 en los primeros cinco meses de 2026 (The Washington Post) y 56 desde el inicio del segundo mandato de Trump (AP). ICE notific\u00f3 a la familia y al Consulado salvadore\u00f1o.
