La Polic\u00eda confirm\u00f3 este martes 28 de julio de 2026 que el sospechoso de nacionalidad ecuatoriana, operaba como \u201clancero\u201d: robaba billeteras en espacios p\u00fablicos y de inmediato realizaba transacciones fraudalentas con las tarjestas de las victimas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El dinero era enviado a Guayaquil, en la provincia del Guayas. La captura se dio en el distrito Manuela S\u00e1enz, durante el operativo Apolo 34, que tambi\u00e9n abarc\u00f3 Eugenio Espejo. La Polic\u00eda Judicial investiga a la presunta organizaci\u00f3n delictiva para dar con m\u00e1s integrantes. En total, el operativo dej\u00f3 18 detenidos 25 ciudadanos extranjeros en proceso de deportaci\u00f3n (17 colombianos, venezolanos y 7 un haitano) y permiti\u00f3 recuperar un veh\u00edculo y dos motos robadas.
