El anuncio fue oficializado por la oficina del Representante Comercial de Estados Unidos, Jamieson Greer. Este esquema reemplaza al arancel global temporal del 10 %, por lo que para los exportadores ecuatorianos la decisi\u00f3n no implica un impuesto adicional o incremento sobre lo que ya ven\u00edan pagando en los \u00faltimos meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MINISTRO ANUNCI\u00d3 \u00abSEGUIMIENTO DE LA SITUACI\u00d3N\u00bb<\/strong><br>Autoridades recurrieron a la Secci\u00f3n 301 de la Ley de Comercio de 1974 para aplicar estos nuevos grav\u00e1menes, argumentando \u00abesfuerzos insuficientes\u00bb por parte de las naciones afectadas para erradicar el trabajo forzado de sus cadenas de suministro. El ministro de la Producci\u00f3n de Ecuador, Luis Jaramillo, anunci\u00f3 que realiza un \u00abseguimiento constante de la situaci\u00f3n\u00bb.
