Ante el aumento de estas probabilidades, surge la pregunta: \u00bfhablamos de un &#8216;S\u00faper El Ni\u00f1o&#8217;? La meteor\u00f3loga Haley Thiem, de la NOAA, aclar\u00f3 en un video que la agencia no usa ese t\u00e9rmino. Solo maneja cuatro categor\u00edas: neutral, moderado, fuerte y muy fuerte. Sin embargo, reconoci\u00f3 que \u00abEl Ni\u00f1o ya est\u00e1 aqu\u00ed y podr\u00eda ser un evento para los libros de historia\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por eso, algunos expertos lo llaman informalmente \u00abS\u00faper El Ni\u00f1o\u00bb. Cada episodio es \u00fanico, advierte Wilfran Moufouma Okia, responsable de predicci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica de la Organizaci\u00f3n Meteorol\u00f3gica Mundial (OMM). En entrevista con la AFP, explic\u00f3 que El Ni\u00f1o genera un calentamiento temporal que, aunque se origina en los tr\u00f3picos, afecta a gran parte del planeta.
