Roc\u00edo Piguave observaba en silencio c\u00f3mo arrastraban los restos de la lancha familiar. \u201cEse era nuestro sustento\u201d, dijo mientras sus familiares rescataban lo poco que sobrevivi\u00f3 al fuego. \u201cAhora no sabemos qui\u00e9n nos va a dar de comer\u201d. La escena se repet\u00eda entre cascos ennegrecidos y motores da\u00f1ados. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sim\u00f3n Valencia, pescador del barrio Santa Martha, se preparaba para zarpar en el barco Caridad del Cobre cuando el fuego comenz\u00f3. \u201cPodr\u00eda haber sido peor: si ya estuvi\u00e9ramos embarcados, tal vez hoy no lo contar\u00eda\u201d, reconoci\u00f3. Ahora, como otros, enfrenta deudas y la incertidumbre de c\u00f3mo alimentar a su familia. El impacto econ\u00f3mico es devastador. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un afectado que pidi\u00f3 reservar su nombre explic\u00f3 que una lancha artesanal cuesta unos 18.000 d\u00f3lares, y una de mayor capacidad puede alcanzar los 2 millones. \u201cNo solo se quemaron embarcaciones, se quem\u00f3 el patrimonio de familias enteras\u201d. Las investigaciones contin\u00faan. El coronel William Calle, comandante de la Zona 4 de la Polic\u00eda, descart\u00f3 un atentado.
