La defensa del burgomaestre se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el per\u00edodo de suspensi\u00f3n ya habr\u00eda vencido, pues la sentencia qued\u00f3 ejecutoriada en julio de 2023. Por ello, exigen la restituci\u00f3n inmediata de sus derechos pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sostienen que mantener restricciones tras cumplirse el nuevo plazo vulnerar\u00eda derechos de participaci\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica. El fallo acerca nuevamente a Pincay a la posibilidad de contender en las elecciones de noviembre de 2026, aunque a\u00fan faltan tr\u00e1mites para formalizar la restituci\u00f3n.
