En Uganda, hay casos en Kampala, incluido un fallecido, sin v\u00ednculo epidemiol\u00f3gico aparente, lo que eleva la alerta. Ya se reportaron dos infectados viajeros desde Congo. \u00c1frica teme la expansi\u00f3n regional por la alta movilidad poblacional. Los Centros Africanos para el Control de Enfermedades convocaron una reuni\u00f3n urgente con la OMS y otros organismos internacionales. Se pide cooperaci\u00f3n inmediata, vigilancia reforzada y trabajo con l\u00edderes comunitarios. El virus Bundibugyo tiene una tasa de letalidad del 60-80%.
