Seg\u00fan la acusaci\u00f3n, los padres de la joven habr\u00edan consentido la relaci\u00f3n a cambio de beneficios. Morales, de 66 a\u00f1os, no asistir\u00e1 a la apertura del proceso. Refugiado desde octubre de 2024 en el Chapare (su basti\u00f3n cocalero) para eludir una orden de captura, el exmandatario niega los cargos: \u201cComo no hallan nada, se inventan delitos. Quiero que mis acusadores demuestren con pruebas legales lo que comet\u00ed\u201d, escribi\u00f3 en X. El juicio comenzar\u00e1 a las 8:20 locales en Tarija. El presidente del Tribunal Departamental de Justicia, Luis Esteban Ortiz, confirm\u00f3 las notificaciones mediante edictos.
