Los s\u00edntomas iniciales son inespec\u00edficos (fiebre, dolores musculares, cefalea y malestares gastrointestinales como n\u00e1useas, v\u00f3mitos y dolor abdominal). En casos graves, la infecci\u00f3n progresa r\u00e1pidamente a una fase cardiopulmonar con dificultad respiratoria severa, tos e inestabilidad hemodin\u00e1mica, que puede derivar en shock cardiog\u00e9nico. Ante cualquier s\u00edntoma, el MSP recomienda no automedicarse y acudir al centro de salud m\u00e1s cercano.
