Se requer\u00edan 101 votos para levantar su inmunidad, pero solo se alcanzaron 55, provenientes de la Revoluci\u00f3n Ciudadana (RC). El oficialismo y aliados votaron en contra. La querella la present\u00f3 el coordinador de RC, Juan Andr\u00e9s Gonz\u00e1lez, tras lo dicho por J\u00e1come en una sesi\u00f3n de febrero de 2026:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLes recomiendo usar buena pijama por si acaso, y espero que encuentren una buena habitaci\u00f3n en la C\u00e1rcel del Encuentro junto a Wilman Ter\u00e1n, a quienes salvaron\u201d. Gonz\u00e1lez tambi\u00e9n denunci\u00f3 ante el Consejo de Administraci\u00f3n Legislativa (CAL) controlado por ADN, que archiv\u00f3 el caso. El corre\u00edsmo critica el trato desigual. Gonz\u00e1lez enfrent\u00f3 seis demandas por calumnia; en cinco, la Asamblea no permiti\u00f3 su procesamiento.
