La Fiscal\u00eda investiga a ocho personas por delincuencia organizada con fines de lavado de activos. Con esta causa, el fiscal Carlos Alarc\u00f3n impuls\u00f3 la suspensi\u00f3n de la Revoluci\u00f3n Ciudadana (RC) en el Tribunal Contencioso Electoral. Entre los investigados: Rafael Correa, Andr\u00e9s Arauz y Luisa Gonz\u00e1lez. Agui\u00f1aga, expresidenta de RC, no es implicada; compareci\u00f3 como versionante. El caso: presunto financiamiento caso Goleada, Alvarez sigue preso por los casos Triple A y manipulaci\u00f3n de grillete electr\u00f3nico. La solicitud invoca el art\u00edculo 333 del COOTAD, que permite remover a una autoridad por ausentarse m\u00e1s de tres d\u00edas h\u00e1biles sin justificaci\u00f3n ni encargo legal. La concejal socialcristiana Ana Ch\u00f3ez anunci\u00f3 que apoyar\u00e1 la remoci\u00f3n, criticando que Alvarez se aferre al cargo sin poder ejercerlo.
