C. G. sufri\u00f3 un violento asalto la tarde del martes, cerca de las 18h00, en Portoviejo (Manab\u00ed). Sujetos desconocidos intentaron robarle varias joyas y, al oponer resistencia, le dispararon en el cuello. El profesional fue trasladado de urgencia a Solca Portoviejo, donde los especialistas lo sometieron a una cirug\u00eda. Fuentes del hospital confirmaron que la operaci\u00f3n fue exitosa y permiti\u00f3 estabilizarlo. Afortunadamente, el proyectil no afect\u00f3 arterias vitales, por lo que su estado actual es estable, aunque permanece bajo observaci\u00f3n. El hecho caus\u00f3 conmoci\u00f3n entre sus allegados. La Polic\u00eda Nacional investiga el caso, recoge evidencias en la escena y busca a los responsables.
