Su solicitud, aprobada en 2024 por los organismos m\u00e9dicos, qued\u00f3 frenada por recursos legales de su progenitor. El caso escal\u00f3 hasta convertirse en un debate legal y familiar, con aval en todas las instancias: tribunales espa\u00f1oles y el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos, que rechaz\u00f3 una medida cautelar para detener el proceso. El conflicto dividi\u00f3 a la familia: mientras su padre se opuso, su madre acompa\u00f1\u00f3 su decisi\u00f3n. Espa\u00f1a cuenta con una ley que permite la eutanasia en casos de enfermedad grave e irreversible, sufrimiento persistente y con evaluaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y legal, criterios que cumpl\u00eda Noelia.
