La medida responde al encarecimiento del petr\u00f3leo por la escalada del conflicto en Medio Oriente. Seg\u00fan el acuerdo publicado en el Diario Oficial de la Federaci\u00f3n (DOF), el est\u00edmulo fiscal al IEPS ser\u00e1 del 24.08 % para la Magna (equivalente a 1.61 pesos por litro), 7.47 % para la Premium (0.42 pesos) y 61.8 % para el di\u00e9sel (4.5 pesos por litro).
