Lleva m\u00e1s de 36 d\u00edas sin poder ejercer el cargo, pese a que deb\u00eda hacerlo tras la salida de Mario Godoy. Villac\u00eds calific\u00f3 el impedimento como un registro sin sustento t\u00e9cnico y busca su anulaci\u00f3n por la v\u00eda constitucional. La audiencia inicial se realizar\u00e1 el mi\u00e9rcoles 18 de marzo, a cargo de la jueza Viviana Pila. A trav\u00e9s de redes sociales, la funcionaria solicit\u00f3 el respaldo de sectores acad\u00e9micos y jur\u00eddicos durante la audiencia para garantizar el respeto al marco constitucional. Previamente, Villac\u00eds present\u00f3 una acci\u00f3n de protecci\u00f3n en Guayaquil, que no fue admitida.
