Estos locales, que atesoran d\u00e9cadas e incluso un siglo de historia, cierran para dar paso a hostales, franquicias o bloques residenciales, desdibujando la identidad de los barrios. Es el caso de la Pasteler\u00eda Muj\u00edque, cerrada en diciembre tras 40 a\u00f1os. Su alquiler no fue renovado, pese a la fidelidad de vecinos como Tiago, el ferretero de enfrente. Para los que resisten, como Jo\u00e3o, due\u00f1o de la centenaria Luso Americana, la lucha es diaria. La subida de rentas y la falta de relevo generacional, ya que los hijos optan por otras carreras y traspasar el negocio a los empleados es inviable por los altos costes, ahogan al sector.
