La medida se debe a una presunta falta grav\u00edsima: haber concedido medidas alternativas a la prisi\u00f3n preventiva a dos personas vinculadas al crimen del excandidato presidencial. Seg\u00fan la resoluci\u00f3n, su conducta podr\u00eda constituir un acto doloso en el ejercicio de sus funciones. La suspensi\u00f3n es temporal y preventiva, no una sanci\u00f3n definitiva, y busca garantizar que el sumario administrativo se desarrolle con independencia. El proceso determinar\u00e1 si existi\u00f3 responsabilidad disciplinaria en su actuaci\u00f3n dentro del caso por el asesinato de Villavicenci o, ocurrido en agosto de 2023.
