Moradores relataron escucharse unos 15 disparos. Agentes y personal de Criminal\u00edstica acudieron al lugar, identificando m\u00e1s de diez casquillos percutidos para su an\u00e1lisis. El cuerpo qued\u00f3 tendido en la v\u00eda hasta completar las diligencias. Jaime Salgado, jefe policial del Distrito Manta, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que Chiricano ten\u00eda antecedentes penales por robo.<br><br>Indic\u00f3 que la v\u00edctima recibi\u00f3 una llamada para un \u00abcachuelo\u00bb y al salir de su vivienda fue atacada. El cuerpo fue trasladado al centro forense.
