Un bus interprovincial, de la cooperativa Ambato, perdi\u00f3 pista y se volc\u00f3 sobre un barranco en la v\u00eda Al\u00f3ag &#8211; Santo Domingo. El sistema integrado de seguridad ECU 911 inform\u00f3 que la alerta se produjo cerca de las 15:00 donde se reportaba un siniestro en el sector Esperia del cant\u00f3n Mej\u00eda, a la altura del kil\u00f3metro 63 de la v\u00eda que une las provincias de Pichincha con Santo Domingo de los Ts\u00e1chilas. El organismo coordin\u00f3 el env\u00edo de personal de emergencia del Cuerpo de Bomberos, la Cruz Roja, ambulancias del IESS y la Polic\u00eda Nacional para atender el siniestro.
