El astronauta fue recibido por el presidente Daniel Noboa, quien le extendi\u00f3 una felicitaci\u00f3n y reconocimiento a nombre del Gobierno Nacional, en el Palacio de Carondelet.<br><br>Salinas formar\u00e1 parte de una misi\u00f3n de la compa\u00f1\u00eda privada Blue Origin. El viaje, previsto para el primer trimestre de 2026, superar\u00e1 la l\u00ednea de Karman, a m\u00e1s de 100 kil\u00f3metros de la Tierra. El cohete despegar\u00e1 desde una instalaci\u00f3n de la empresa en Texas. Salinas, piloto de profesi\u00f3n, ha recibido entrenamiento especializado durante los \u00faltimos meses para convertirse en el primer ecuatoriano en el espacio exterior.<br><br>Desde 1998 reside en Estados Unidos, pa\u00eds en donde ha laborado en varias compa\u00f1\u00edas de aviaci\u00f3n e ingenier\u00eda aeron\u00e1utica. \u00abJuan ha tenido una destacada trayectoria internacional en la industria aeron\u00e1utica y para materializar este hist\u00f3rico objetivo.<br><br><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Juan Fernando Salinas se convertir\u00e1 en el primer ecuatoriano en viajar al espacio exterior.
