Como parte de las acciones preventivas, el MAE anunci\u00f3 que se desarrollar\u00e1n jornadas de educaci\u00f3n ambiental en la zona y se colocar\u00e1 se\u00f1al\u00e9tica informativa para reforzar la conservaci\u00f3n de la fauna silvestre.<br><br>La instituci\u00f3n record\u00f3 que el coat\u00ed sudamericano est\u00e1 clasificado como especie de Preocupaci\u00f3n Menor (LC) por la Uni\u00f3n Internacional para la Conservaci\u00f3n de la Naturaleza (UICN) y figura en el Libro Rojo de Mam\u00edferos del Ecuador.<br><br>El MAE asegur\u00f3 que mantendr\u00e1 una vigilancia permanente durante el proceso y reiter\u00f3 su compromiso con la protecci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas.
