Ciudadanos denunciaron este hecho para que la Unidad de Bienestar Animal (UBA) intervenga.<br><br>De acuerdo a las denuncias el ciudadano se sub\u00eda a las unidades de transporte p\u00fablico y ped\u00eda colaboraci\u00f3n para un supuesto refugio de animales. En cajas de cart\u00f3n transportaba a los animales, afectando su integridad.<br><br>Una joven intent\u00f3 ayudar al gato, pero el hombre se mostr\u00f3 agresivo. \u00abLe dije: &#8216;se\u00f1or yo me lo llevo al gatito&#8217; y sac\u00f3 un palo y trat\u00f3 de agredirme f\u00edsicamente\u00bb, cont\u00f3 la ciudadana a la UBA. Tras las denuncias, el personal de la Agencia Metropolitana Control (AMC) abord\u00f3 al hombre y en flagrancia logr\u00f3 emitir la sanci\u00f3n.<br><br>Por esta infracci\u00f3n grave que provoc\u00f3 da\u00f1o o sufrimiento a los animales se emiti\u00f3 una multa de 4 700 d\u00f3lares. El personal de UBA tambi\u00e9n rescat\u00f3 al gato que se encontraba en la caja con peque\u00f1os orificios, condiciones que pod\u00edan provocar problemas futuros en su salud.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un hombre usaba gatos y perros para pedir dinero en buses que circulaban en Quito.
