El domingo 16 de noviembre de 2025 se votar\u00e1 por la Consulta Popular y Refer\u00e9ndum.<br><br>Alrededor de 13,8 millones de ecuatorianos est\u00e1n llamados a las urnas para definir si se convocar\u00e1 a una Asamblea Constituyente, y sobre la instalaci\u00f3n de bases militares extranjeras, reducci\u00f3n de n\u00famero de asamble\u00edstas y financiamiento de partidos pol\u00edticos.<br><br>Por el proceso electoral se establece la Ley Seca en Ecuador. El C\u00f3digo de la Democracia establece esta restricci\u00f3n en su art\u00edculo 123. La Ley Seca se inicia 36 horas antes y se extiende hasta 12 horas despu\u00e9s de los comicios. Es decir que la restricci\u00f3n arranca a las 12:00 del viernes 14 y termina al mediod\u00eda del lunes 17 de noviembre.<br><br>Seg\u00fan el C\u00f3digo de la Democracia, se proh\u00edbe la venta, la distribuci\u00f3n o el consumo de bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas en ese plazo. SANCIONES Durante la prohibici\u00f3n las autoridades llevan a cabo operativos de control y podr\u00e1n aprehender a los infractores.<br><br>Los establecimientos podr\u00edan ser clausurados y enfrentar sanciones econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los ecuatorianos est\u00e1n a pocos d\u00edas de volver a las urnas.
