La captura fue confirmada por el Ministerio del Interior y la Polic\u00eda Nacional tras varios allanamientos ejecutados en Dur\u00e1n. Durante las intervenciones se incautaron armas de fuego, cartuchos, tel\u00e9fonos celulares, documentos y una motocicleta presuntamente vinculada al crimen. Los dos aprehendidos ser\u00e1n procesados por asesinato. La Fiscal\u00eda General del Estado abri\u00f3 de oficio la causa y dispuso diligencias iniciales como levantamiento de cad\u00e1ver, recolecci\u00f3n de indicios bal\u00edsticos, toma de versiones y revisi\u00f3n de c\u00e1maras de videovigilancia del sector.
