El comunero fue identificado como Efra\u00edn Fueres, de 46 a\u00f1os, quien falleci\u00f3 en el Hospital de Cotacachi tras recibir impactos de bala emitidos por las Fuerzas Armadas, seg\u00fan denuncia Inredh y el movimiento ind\u00edgena. Leonidas Iza detall\u00f3 que el hecho violento ocurri\u00f3 a las 06:30 de este domingo y que Fueres recibi\u00f3 tres disparos ejecutados por la fuerza p\u00fablica. \u00abCondenamos el brutal ataque y exigimos la acci\u00f3n inmediata de los organismos internacionales para precautelar la vida del pueblo levantado que hoy est\u00e1 siendo masacrado por un gobierno indolente\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Iza en su cuenta de X.
