C., y varios funcionarios del municipio, quienes enfrentan un proceso por el presunto delito de peculado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f \u201cEste Gobierno fue escogido para representar al pueblo. La voluntad de los ecuatorianos debe ser respetada\u201d, expres\u00f3 el Ministro durante una rueda de prensa ofrecida desde la sede del Ministerio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reimberg revel\u00f3 que se trata de una investigaci\u00f3n de varios meses liderada por la Polic\u00eda Nacional en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Fiscal\u00eda General del Estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSe hallaron documentos y celulares en el domicilio del alcalde que no deber\u00edan estar all\u00ed. Estos elementos aportar\u00e1n con informaci\u00f3n clave para esclarecer el caso\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2696\ufe0f El funcionario asegur\u00f3 que no habr\u00e1 espacio para la impunidad. \u201cEsta operaci\u00f3n demuestra que el Gobierno no permitir\u00e1 actos de corrupci\u00f3n. Nadie estar\u00e1 por encima de la ley\u201d, sentenci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, advirti\u00f3 que los recientes ataques al Ejecutivo buscan frenar la lucha contra la delincuencia organizada:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCada vez que avanzamos, intentan quitarnos las armas legales con las que enfrentamos al crimen.
