La Contralor\u00eda analiz\u00f3 la compra por USD 89 millones y encontr\u00f3 algunas irregularidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verific\u00f3 43 de los 48 motores en la Central de Energ\u00eda T\u00e9rmica Esmeraldas III y hall\u00f3 que fueron fabricados en el 2017, pese a que el requisito era que lo fueran despu\u00e9s del 2020 y se certifique que eran nuevos. Seis ni siquiera ten\u00edan placas de identificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hubo evidencia de que algunos de ellos eran usados. De los 43 generadores conectados a los motores, solo dos ten\u00edan placas originales que certificaban que fueron fabricados en el 2016 y que eran de 50 hercios (hz), incompatibles con el sistema el\u00e9ctrico ecuatoriano que funciona a 60 hz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los otros 41 generadores no ten\u00edan placas de identificaci\u00f3n y sus n\u00fameros de serie estaban marcados a mano.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los motores y generadores comprados a Austral Technical Management (ATM) para generar 91 megavatios en Esmeraldas no son nuevos y son incompatibles con el sistema el\u00e9ctrico nacional.
