El hecho se registr\u00f3 la ma\u00f1ana de este s\u00e1bado 28 de junio del 2025. Seg\u00fan los reportes preliminares de la Direcci\u00f3n Regional de los Espacios acu\u00e1ticos (Dirnea), el hundimiento de la embarcaci\u00f3n ocurri\u00f3 durante maniobras de flotabilidad y retiro de la misma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ante este hecho, y en coordinaci\u00f3n con la Armada del Ecuador, la Direcci\u00f3n del Parque Nacional Gal\u00e1pagos, dispuso de inmediato una inspecci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica en el sitio para evaluar las posibles causas del siniestro.
