Este mi\u00e9rcoles 15 de enero del 2025, la Subsecretar\u00eda de Calidad Ambiental, del Ministerio del Ambiente, inform\u00f3 que la resoluci\u00f3n que facultaba al Municipio de Guayaquil como autoridad ambiental fue suspendida. Esto gener\u00f3 la reacci\u00f3n inmediata de la municipalidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;En la notificaci\u00f3n del texto se detalla que el Municipio ya no podr\u00e1 tramitar licencias ambientales. Tampoco podr\u00e1 trabajar en procesos relacionados con la prevenci\u00f3n, control y seguimiento de la contaminaci\u00f3n ambiental, manejo de denuncias y sanciones.
