Con la firma electr\u00f3nica, los ciudadanos podr\u00e1n garantizar la autenticidad e integridad de una persona.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta es v\u00e1lida para firmar virtualmente contratos, documentos, facturaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica, procesos judiciales, entre otros tr\u00e1mites online. De hecho, en 2023, se habilit\u00f3 un aplicaci\u00f3n, conocida como Firma Ec, para que los ecuatorianos puedan firmar documentos PDF, verificar la validez de tr\u00e1mites electr\u00f3nicos y certificados digitales, a trav\u00e9s de dispositivos m\u00f3viles.
