Diego Carranza, quien trabaj\u00f3 como preparador de arqueros del combinado tricolor, como parte del comando t\u00e9cnico de Gustavo Alfaro, gan\u00f3 una demanda a la Federaci\u00f3n Ecuatoriana de F\u00fatbol. Carranza demand\u00f3 a la FEF ante la FIFA por incumplimientos en el pago de premios acordados durante la fase Eliminatoria y el Mundial Qatar 2022. La Federaci\u00f3n Ecuatoriana de F\u00fatbol deber\u00e1 pagar al ex arquero el monto de \u201cUSD 86,903 netos en concepto de remuneraci\u00f3n adeudada m\u00e1s un 5% de inter\u00e9s anual desde el 1 de diciembre de 2022 y hasta la fecha de pago efectivo\u201d, indica la resoluci\u00f3n de FIFA. La FEF tiene un plazo de 45 d\u00edas para cancelar esta deuda a Carranza, en el caso de que el ente incumpla, la FIFA retendr\u00e1 el 20% del monto a depositar como parte del programa FIFA Forward.
