Adem\u00e1s, el tom\u00f3grafo est\u00e1 operativo tras un a\u00f1o fuera de servicio.<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jonathan Morante Borbor, director administrativo del HGP, inform\u00f3 que ambos equipos brindan atenci\u00f3n a los afiliados al Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social en Portoviejo desde el viernes 6 de septiembre.\u00a0\u00a0<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEl ec\u00f3grafo dej\u00f3 de funcionar desde el a\u00f1o 2022 por da\u00f1os en varias de sus partes; mientras que el tom\u00f3grafo no presta servicio desde octubre 2023. La actual administraci\u00f3n realiz\u00f3 el levantamiento y suscribi\u00f3 contratos para la reparaci\u00f3n de ambos equipos, en el caso del tom\u00f3grafo por un monto de USD 20 900\u00bb, explic\u00f3 Morante.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ec\u00f3grafo sirve para realizar estudios abdominales, p\u00e9lvicos, vasculares, obst\u00e9tricos y pedi\u00e1tricos (transfontanelar). Por su parte, con el tom\u00f3grafo se realizan im\u00e1genes que pueden diagnosticar condiciones potencialmente mortales, como hemorragias, co\u00e1gulos de sangre o c\u00e1ncer.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El HGP cuenta con dos ec\u00f3grafos que son administrados por 4 m\u00e9dicos. Cada uno puede realizar entre 25 o 30 estudios diarios solicitados por las \u00e1reas de Emergencia, Hospitalizaci\u00f3n o Consulta Externa. Por otra parte, con el tom\u00f3grafo se trabajar\u00e1 bajo directrices establecidas por la Direcci\u00f3n M\u00e9dica para atender a los pacientes de Consulta Externa, Hospitalizaci\u00f3n y Emergencia.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se priorizar\u00e1 la atenci\u00f3n a los pacientes en lista de espera, para otorgarles la atenci\u00f3n requerida.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Roberto M., afiliado al Seguro Social Campesino (SSC) y oriundo del cant\u00f3n Pichincha, fue uno de los primeros pacientes en utilizar el ec\u00f3grafo que fue repotenciado en el Hospital General Portoviejo (HGP).
