Este hecho ocurri\u00f3 hoy en el barrio Tierra Santa cuando un pariente envi\u00f3 al ni\u00f1o a ver un balde de agua y en ese momento hizo el hallazgo del artefacto en el patio de su casa. Un familiar al percatarse del hecho, tom\u00f3 la granada y lo ubic\u00f3 fuera de su hogar para luego solicitar ayuda urgente a la Polic\u00eda de Manta.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al lugar acudieron los polic\u00edas de la Unidad Antiexplosivos del Grupo de Intervenci\u00f3n y Rescate (GIR) y al confirmar que era una fragmentaci\u00f3n militar tipo pi\u00f1a, realizaron su detonaci\u00f3n controlada. Este tipo de equipo suelen tener cargas de fragmentaci\u00f3n altamente explosivas. Los polic\u00edas informaron que el ni\u00f1o est\u00e1 vivo de milagro porque pudo haber explotado mientras jugaba. Este artefacto puede provocar la muerte, a menudo de un gran n\u00famero de personas, seg\u00fan los polic\u00edas.
