Sin embargo, la Corporaci\u00f3n El\u00e9ctrica del Ecuador (Celec) debe seguir ahorrando agua y, este lunes 29 de abril de 2024, la central produce energ\u00eda con un solo generador de 55 megavatios por hora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mientras tanto, la hidroel\u00e9ctrica Paute &#8211; Molino, con ocho de sus diez generadores, est\u00e1 produciendo 500 megavatios por hora. La causa: el caudal del embalse Amaluza subi\u00f3 siete metros, es decir ya super\u00f3 el m\u00ednimo de agua y est\u00e1 en 1 982 metros sobre el nivel del mar. En cambio, la cota de la central Sopladora est\u00e1 en 1 315 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Subi\u00f3 tres metros por encima del m\u00ednimo para poder funcionar. Para este lunes, esa hidroel\u00e9ctrica produce m\u00e1s de 292 megavatios por hora con dos de sus tres unidades de generaci\u00f3n.
