Con la victoria de ayer, Sinner se convirti\u00f3 en el primer tenista italiano en conseguir el t\u00edtulo a orillas del r\u00edo Yarra y el tercero en conseguir un t\u00edtulo slam masculino. Se uni\u00f3 a los legendarios Nicola Pietrangeli y Adriano Panatta, tambi\u00e9n ganadoras de alg\u00fan major, lo mismo que Francesa Schiavone y Flavia Penetta en el circuito femenino.
