Sus verdugos llegaron en moto. El hecho se registr\u00f3 aproximadamente a las 14h45 de este martes 23 de enero, en la Calle 110 y Avenida 111, en territorio del barrio 9 de octubre, parroquia Tarqui, en Manta, provincia de Manab\u00ed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan testigos, Fern\u00e1ndez fue abordado por sujetos armados que conoc\u00edan su paradero, pues trabajaba en el taller donde fue sorprendido de al menos 4 tiros. El ataque fue letal y a sangre fr\u00eda. El cad\u00e1ver qued\u00f3 en la vereda. Este se convirti\u00f3 en la muerte violenta n\u00famero 11 ocurrida en el Distrito Manta.
