Los negriazules adquirieron el pase deportivo del atacante ecuatoriano que pertenec\u00eda al Grupo Pachuca de M\u00e9xico pero que no era considerado en sus filas. Ibarra llega con 29 a\u00f1os de edad, y jugar\u00e1 con su hermano, Renato, quien fue anunciado la semana pasada tras quedar campe\u00f3n con Liga de Quito. Con el fichaje de Romario, Independiente ha sumado a varios ofensivos para el 2024: Alexander Bola\u00f1os y los hermanos Ibarra que le dar\u00e1n mayor verticalidad y velocidad en las bandas a un equipo que sufri\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado en eso. Cabe recordar que Independiente disputar\u00e1 la Liga Pro y la Copa Libertadores, objetivo pendiente en su historial.
