DirecTV, la \u00fanica cableoperadora que transmit\u00eda los partidos del campeonato, decidi\u00f3 no renovar el contrato con la empresa que posee los derechos audiovisuales. De esta manera, Star Plus, plataforma de streaming de Disney, ser\u00e1 la \u00fanica opci\u00f3n para ver los partidos de la Liga Pro a partir del 16 de febrero, fecha en la que comenzar\u00e1 el torneo. La decisi\u00f3n de DirecTV de no renovar el contrato con la empresa que tiene los derechos de audiovisuales del torneo ecuatoriano no se conoce oficialmente, pero anteriormente se ha mencionado que el negocio no ha sido rentable para el cableoperador. Los hinchas de los diferentes equipos de la Liga Pro deber\u00e1n contar con una suscripci\u00f3n a Star Plus para poder ver los partidos del torneo.
