Esto lo confirm\u00f3 Eduardo Franco Loor, abogado del exfuncionario. \u201cEn las pr\u00f3ximas horas, Jorge Glas pedir\u00e1 formalmente, y de conformidad con la Convenci\u00f3n de Asilo Diplom\u00e1tico de Caracas del a\u00f1o 1954, el asilo correspondiente\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el abogado a CNN.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El domingo 17 de diciembre de 2023, el exfuncionario corre\u00edsta ingres\u00f3 como \u201chu\u00e9sped\u201d a la embajada de M\u00e9xico en Quito. El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de M\u00e9xico respondi\u00f3 que Jorge Glas ingres\u00f3 a la sede \u201cexpresando temor por su seguridad y libertad personal\u201d.
