A trav\u00e9s de la Direcci\u00f3n de Asuntos Deportivos, ha puesto en conocimiento de la Federaci\u00f3n Ecuatoriana de F\u00fatbol lo siguiente: Vallecilla fue sancionada por medio de la Ley del Deporte Educaci\u00f3n F\u00edsica y Recreaci\u00f3n, en el art\u00edculo 153, en donde se detalla que la directiva que no convoque a elecciones en tiempo y forma quedar\u00e1 inhabilitada por el doble del tiempo que estuvo en el cargo. En este caso, ocho a\u00f1os. La propia directiva dijo m\u00e1s temprano que el \u201cMinisterio no me ha ha sancionado y en caso de que se convoque a nuevos comicios, nosotros ir\u00edamos como candidatos\u201d. Para culminar, Vallecilla apunt\u00f3 que \u201cir a nuevas elecciones ser\u00eda darle la raz\u00f3n a quien no la tiene\u201d y seguir\u00e1n trabajando al interior de El Nacional a la espera de que este \u201c22 de diciembre est\u00e9 resuelto el tema\u201d para enfocarse en la Copa Libertadores.
